Adjustable from 1 to 3.5 lbs., the TriggerTech Special is an upgrade to the TriggerTech Primary trigger replacement. It gives you all of the advantages of FRT Friction Release Technology, TKR Short Overtravel/Reset, and CLK Click Adjustable Pull Weight. This drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. It replaces the controversial Remington safety with a proven TriggerTech Safety. And it's suitable for use in benchrest, competition, precision shooting, military, law enforcement, long range hunting, F Class, rugged hunting, harsh environments operations, target shooting, ultra long range, varmint hunting..

Factory 700 w/BR vs. R700 Clones - Clones are rifle brands that use the identical "footprint" of the factory Remington 700. They fit the same barrels, accessories, and stock inletting as the factory 700. The differences are that the clones all have the Bolt Release on the side of the receiver instead of the the little sheet metal tab on the bottom of Remington factory triggers. So, if you're buying your new trigger for an R700 Clone, be sure to get the one without the bolt release. Also, Clones are usually closer fitting and overall better made than the original Remington factory guns were... Modern manufacturing techniques can incorporate many of the custom improvements into R700 Clones that used to be done to Remington 700 rifles to customize and improve their function and accuracy. Here are the names of some R700 Clones you may recognize: Bergara B14, Defiance, Curtis Custom, Christianson Arms, Bergara, and Pacific... To name a few.
