Thompson Center 1870 Pro Hunter Stainless Rifle Frame Bare or w/Stocks

TC Frames Notice: Due to the current demands on manufacturing capacity, the supply of Encore and Contender frames has become unpredictable. We have placed large orders with Smith and Wesson (the TC manufacturer) and they are planning to produce and ship a few at a time whenever their production capacity allows. For the time being we will continue to take back-orders so you can reserve a frame in first come first served fashion. You won't be charged until your frame ships and it won't ship until we call you to confirm that you still want it.

Frame fits either Encore or Pro Hunter barrels, stocks, and accessories. Complete your rifle with a barrel, butt stock, and forend. Pro Hunter frames are engraved with "Pro Hunter" logo on the receiver and a swivel hammer for thumb clearance on low mounted scopes. Premium Stainless frames are durable and accurate.

Optimize your frame with an EABCO Action Job (check box above). Mass production doesn't leave time for cleaning up and tuning the trigger mechanism. Our expert gunsmiths put time and skill into tuning your action to its optimum potential. We grind sear surfaces to mate squarely, polish out seams left by molding process, shim parts that need to return to the same position from shot to shot, adjust spring tensions, and set over travel screws. Results are safe, clean triggers of approx. 2.5-3 lbs pull. (Factory pull is approx 4.5 lbs.)

Encore frame

Great to be able to purchase a frame only when you have collected numerous barrels/ stocks for Encores you own. Don't forget to order the trigger job. It is beautiful and you will not be sorry you spent the few extra bucks!

My FFL holder said he had never seen an Encore action being offered without furniture. As expected, it looks great!Anyway, wore out the guts of my Contender several times back when they were new and I shot IMSHA weekly for many, many years. Expect the same great, dependable experience with years of use.

better than expected. 4# trigger pull, installed spring kit down to1.5#. Very accurate and that is the only reason to spend so much money for a single shot. Eabco a pleasure to deal with, fast with good follow up.

TC Frame in Stainless

Yes I received the TC Encore Pro Hunter Frame and stock assembly. it met my expectations on qualityt at a good price. I used it at the range with my 50 cal muzzleloader barrel. All shot groups over-lapped at 50 yards. Great Quality. Thanks.

The action came in perfect condition and with the hinge pin in place. I bought another frame from a different supplier recently and the pin did not come with the receiver. So thanks EABCO!

I previously had purchased a practically new Thompson Center 50 cal muzzle loader from Cabela's that was previously ordered from the T/C custom shop. It is a blued muzzle loader that had an action job done on it, plus it was engraved in gold on the action frame, and deluxe walnut stock & for end. It also had a S/S .243 24 std barrel with it. I also purchased a 28 S/S .270 fluted barrel, and a 26 .223 Weather Shield fluted barrel from EABCO.com to go with the S/S Pro Hunter Frame. I also had a T/C Pro Hunter Camo Stock, and For-end. And am delighted to now own a blued, and S/S set of weapons.
