TC Encore PeepRib Muzzleloader Sight
- Our original
PeepRib Aperture Sight for TC Encore, Pro Hunter, Triumph, Triumph Bone Collector, Impact and Omega
combines a precision aperture sight with a scope mounting base. You can position a riflescope on and off your gun without upsetting your aperture sight! It's great for using a scope to fine tune your handload accuracy and you can just remove the scope when hunting regulations don't allow it. The PeepRib Aperture Sight itself is precision adjustable for windage and elevation and comes standard with a special High Definition Aperture for the clearest possible sight picture. (Also available for CVA and Traditions muzzleloaders).
- An aperture sight (aka peep sight), mounted as close to your eye as possible, removes a huge amount of aiming error by simply increasing the sight radius (the distance between front and rear sights). Also, aiming error from rear sight light reflection is virtually eliminated with an aperture sight... so that the angle of the sun will not change your point of impact. Finally, the aperture itself improves the focus of your sight picture by funneling the light through a hole. (A camera will do much the same thing when you reduce the size of its aperture... the depth of field improves).
(Note: Threads on the aperture are standard 7/32 x 40 - Peep Height Adjusts Approx. .440" Low- .625" High - Peep hole diameter = .093").

Nice peep.
I recently installed the sight on my T/C 209 Magnum .50 cal. I originally had a scope base on the rifle and this is a definite upgrade. The peep is easily adjustable with a small screw driver and the peep aperture is ideal for lower to good light conditions. Comes with mounting screws and Allen and torx wrenches.

Great quality, puts scope HIGH
This is a neat idea, seems like a good execution as a quality base, and is probably the best option on the market for a combination peep/scope base. Know that you will almost certainly need high scope rings to get a moderately sized objective scope and power ring above the peep ring, at least on the T/C Omega (the encore pictured looks similarly positioned). Versatility of having a peep and scope mount costs having the scope mounted high, chin-weld high. This is mentioned in the instructions, so that's fair, but you may not necessarily come away from the website description understanding that. If you're primarily after the peep, it seems great. I want the versatility, so as annoying as the sky high scope axis is, I'll find the right cheek bag/riser to get my face up.

Outstanding service
I purchased this peep site for a last minute elk hunt. After placing my order I realized I had ordered the wrong model. I called and actually got a human being on the second ring. No problem. Changed my order and I had the site in 2 days. The site was fabulous but the customer service unbelievable!!!!!!

Nice
This fit my Encore muzzleloader barrel and allowed me to put some high see through rings on for the scope and still see the iron sights.

Great option for open sight shooters
Have not used as a scope mount base, but it vastly improves accuracy over the factory rear sight on my TC Pro Hunter! If you shoot / hunt open sights, this is a great option!

This peep sight mount works great on my Kathadin 45/70 Encore. I mounted a 30mm scope in low mounts, so I do have to remove the peep when scope is mounted. I keep the peep and a fitted screwdriver in my butt stock pouch if needed. I have quick release rings and know where the peep is sighted in at so I can go from one or the other in minutes. I recommend this mount as well as this company to my friends.

Mr.
The PeepRib Peep Sight from EABCO has been an excellent choice as a backup sight for my muzzleloader for VT's late season. If my scope is full of snow, I have other options. This is also a setup I plan on using in CO for elk hunting, where scopes are not allowed. Highly recommend this for your muzzleloader. Wish they made one for my Remington 7600 .30-06!

Great quality. Fits really good on Thompson Center Omega x-7. The only bad was I had to use extra extra high tactical rings.

Works great on my Omega. I was able to use the stock front sight without shimming the peep. Helped me group better at 100 yards. I like that I can mount a scope to it if needed.

Mr.
If you own an encore with a front sight this is an accessory you will want to have. I allows duel sighting as it has a aperture sight on the rear of the picatinny that is fully adjustable. The main reason I purchased it was for use on a hot-loaded 45-70. The little gun kicks and one has to consciously be aware of the scope cutting a gash on recoil which is distracting. For this gun I removed the scope and use this sight as the primary.
