Muzzle Loader Front Sight Kit, CVA and Traditions

- This is a nice fiber optic front sight replacement for round barreled muzzle loading rifles. It can be installed on barrels with a dovetail or on barrels with a 6-48 front sight screw hole. Depending on the diameter of the barrel, the installed height of this sight will be approximately .400-.440" above the top surface of the barrel. The fiber optic gives a bright, easy to see dot when aiming.

Compatibility
  • Front Sight Mounting Screw fits 6-48 front sight hole. If your gun has a different screw thread, try to use your original front sight screw.
  • Front Sight Screw Hole is approximately .875" from the front of the sight. Your rifle will need the hole to be .875" or more back from the muzzle.
  • Front Sight Height will be approximately .500" from the bottom of the dovetail. Or, approximately .400-.440" from the top of the barrel.
  • This is the sight we recommend for CVA and Traditions muzzleloaders when using our EABCO PeepRib® rear sight.
Is This The Sight You Need?
  • If you already have a front sight and are hitting too low, you will need lower front sight.
  • If you already have a front sight and are hitting too high, you will need a higher front sight.
  • Compare the height of this sight to your existing sight and decide if it is what you need.

Installation: Fits round barrels with or without dovetail. Dovetailed barrels use the dovetail insert... The sight thjen screws into the insert. Barrels that have no dovetail, use the factory original sight screw and front sight screw hole to attach the sight directly.
Traditions Rifles: Do not use the sight screw supplied with this sight, you need to use the screw that was used with your factory front sight.
