Timney Ruger American Centerfire Trigger

Self-contained, 100% drop-in trigger is ready to install in your Ruger American rifle for an exceptionally smooth, crisp, trigger pull. Pull weight is factory set at crisp three pounds and you can set it yourself to any pull weight you'd like from 1.5 to 4 pounds. Lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum housing is anodized for extra durability. The trigger is CNC machined on the most cutting edge robotic machines available. The sear is EDM cut and Teflon-nickel coated for maximum lubricity.  The whole unit has been designed for easy installation and manufactured using Timney's stringent specifications for a lifetime of trouble free service.  This trigger works on both left and right hand centerfire.

Ruger American CF Trigger by Timney
This is the second trigger like this I've installed in a ruger american and they have both worked as advertised.

This trigger was easy to install. I could not get the factory trigger down below 4.5 lbs pull and there was some roughness. Now the Timney breaks crisply at 3.0 lbs with no creep or overtravel. Better groups already.

Great trigger
Put this in a Ruger American Predator. Very smooth trigger. Was able to get it down to a little over a 1lb of trigger pull. No creep what so ever. Just a great feeling trigger. I think it is as good or better than the factory trigger in my Ruger Precision. Now considering putting a Timney in some of my other guns. E. Arthur Brown had the lowest price and the best service. Very fast shipping. Will definitely shop here more often

This is the best trigger. Very solid and no creep, really improved my groups at the range. All of my rifles now have Timney triggers.

Ruger American Trigger
My Ruger American Predator in .204 Ruger shoots great, but the trigger did not break clean..with significant creep. I purchased the Timney trigger from E.A. Brown and received it in three days! Installation was simple and trigger pull weight adjustment worked perfect. The trigger breaks with absolutely no creep..NONE. I normally don't do reviews but this product deserves a five star rating!

An absolute great upgrade for ruger American rifle. Perfect for bench rest shooting or hunting. Totality worth the money. Buy one you won't regret it. Easy to install. Takes about 5 mins. Maybe less with correct punch set.

Trigger works great! Not too difficult to install, decent directions, easy adjustment, and much better than the factory trigger. Best price I could find was here.

Money well spent. Crisp break, no creep, no over travel. Requires a 1/16 punch to remove the trigger pins.

Good trigger.
Set the trigger just under 3lbs. Nice clean break and no creep. Like the other review, the roll pins are a little bit annoying, but if you have the proper punches, it's not a problem. Also, safety parts are reused so pay attention to assembly, so it's easier to put back together. Overall, I am satisfied.

Good Quality
Good quality trigger, definitely an upgrade to what came with the rifle. Typical Timney high quality. From an installation standpoint, beware that it is not totally a drop-in trigger. There are two roll pins that have to be removed, that can cause a blood pressure spike if you aren't familiar with how to remove.
