Timney 518-V2 Elite Hunter Trigger for Remington 700 Rifles
Easiest Drop-In  Replacement of Trigger and Safety System is Because It's Pre-Set!
- The new "V2" Elite Hunter trigger takes the guess work out of installing a Timney on your Remington 700 hunting rifle. The sear is pre-adjusted for minimum pre-travel and locked in place. This used to be the trickiest part of installing an adjustable trigger. But with the V2 Elite Hunter it's already done FOR you. EASY!

Features At a Glance...
  • Pre-Set Sear Engagement for Short Pre-Travel with Drop-In installation.
  • Pre-Set 3 lb Weight of Pull and Short Over-Travel with Drop-In Installation.
  • Fully Adjustable weight of pull from 1.4-4 lbs.
  • Fully Adjustable Over-Travel.
  • Better Safety Than Factory Trigger

- The Timney V2 Elite Hunter Trigger for your Remington 700 will give you a perfect hunting trigger pull right from the start. Pre-adjusted for take-up, over-travel, and a 3 lb. trigger pull weight, these triggers are held to far tighter tolerances than factory triggers... The geometry is within .0005 inch (5/10,000ths of an inch) for perfect and consistent fit and function!
- There are also two main design differences in the Timney Triggers vs the Remington factory triggers: First, the trigger is made from a solid block of heat treated steel with no "connector bar". Second, the Timney Triggers have a completely different and superior safety design that blocks the trigger, not the sear. There is no way to move the trigger when it is on safety, so when you take it off safety, it remains in the same position. (BUT REMEMBER: Never trust ANY safety... Always keep every firearm pointed in a safe direction).
