Tactical Solutions Ruger 10/22 Barrel 16.5" Matte Black Threaded-End 1:16

The Ruger 10/22 barrels work just fine. It is possible to get 1/2" shot groups and occasionally better than that. The muzzle brake, I don't know how it helps but it sure looks good on the barrel!

When I first purchased my Ruger 10/22 it was just to have an inexpensive small caliber long gun in my collection. Well, that didn't last long! At this time the only original piece is the receiver. That being said, the most impressive upgrade is the Tactical Solutions X-Ring Barrel. aside from its good looks, fluted and yet tactical, it has provided an increased accuracy that is game changing, almost boring! Plus it's an exact match for my CMMG Defcan 22 suppressor making it look like a one piece integrated unit. Well done Tactical Solutions for an awesome barrel upgrade AND E. ok shooter got a dime group at 50 works for small gam hunting nice and light over sized shank so i frose barrel heated reciever sliped it togather super tight fit .still need to glass barrel in stock and float reciever hoping to get 3/8 or less group at 50 yards

This barrel replaced a heavy, heavy target barrel. I needed something light for Steel Challenge matches. Install was easy. I did two twists on the tenon with some fine sandpaper and that was all it needed to fit. I shot my first match with it a couple of weeks ago and it performed perfectly. The barrel is light and easy to swing to each target quickly. I will buy another for my girlfriend's 10/22 for next season.

Great easy application

I bought this barrel because I was at my wits end trying to get my rifle to group anything less than 8 MOA. (Brand new barrel) I had tried EVERYTHING and rolled the dice on this fix. The fit was very tight. I had to lightly sand the receiver and shank and lightly tap the barrel into place. Once finished and tested for what ammunition it preferred the rifle shot 2 MOA and I'm sure it will do better when I have time to bag it and really try. The lighter weight is great and offsets the weight of a suppressor nicely. This barrel is well worth the price.
