Great product. I left a shot gun in the case and car on a humid night , next day just wiped off beaded moisture and cleaned. Great protector against dampness and potential rust. Have recommended to many friends/shooters already.

My father used RustePrufe in the 60's on his shotguns. When I moved to Alaska in 66 I used it on my rifle and handguns,a handgun wore daily. Never a problem with their finishes.I have moved to Florida and now it is used on all of my metal working machines and their accessories.Again no rusting. All my stuff is protected by this excellent product.

I have used this product for over 50 years and it is the best rust preventative I have ever found, even on my duty guns which were exposed to rain. Wiped off at the end of my shift then RustePrufe reapplied, no rusting occurred to my guns.

In the description, you mention a gel like coating. What? I've used this product for over 30 years and absolutely love it...it works great...I still use the same chamois cloth and jar I've had since the 1980's (just re-saturate the felt pad)...but never once have I experienced a gel like coating. What the hell is that? It removes as a solvent, then the solvent evaporates and leaves behind an ultra thin coating of lubricant...no gel...not even close. I've never seen it described like that. (EABCO's Response: We use RustePrufe as a preservative coating on all of our EABCO production accuracy barrels. To me, it sort of looks like a gel coating for at least a while until it evaporates... Or WHILE its evaporating? I'll change it. Sorry for the confusion but thanks for the nice review. Great Stuff!)

Works as well as any CLP out there.Been around for a long time.Highly recommended.
