Pachmayr Decelerator Forend or Grip: Original Contender

Wish I would have purchased this years ago, great service & shipping from EABCO.

Adding the Pachamyrs worked really well toward taming the impact on my hands. The fit is great and they really improve the of the contender I believe e.

I had a taco style grip on my Contender for shooting offhand silhouette, ( taco style, gun is held similar to a rifle using a rifle scope, standing position). I decided to use this gun with iron sights using a two hand hold, (arms outstretched, standing). In order to that I needed a traditional pistol grip, I ordered a Pachmayer grip from EABCO and a Pachmayer forend from another source, (more expensive that EABCO but EABCO was zero balance on forends. I put the new grip/forend on my Contender, it's noticeably heavier, but . . . it holds very well, especially when there's wind to deal with. Money well spent.

I bought the grip not the forearm. The grip is really great it does help with the more recoiling chamberings 7-30 waters, 35 remington. I use a custom wood forearm. EABCO shipped it fast .

I do a lot of competitive shooting and have been using Pachmayr products for a lot of years. The plain simple reason - they are the Best out there.

I 'am very pleased that the forend fit's perfectley. I want to thank E.Arther Brown for having the parts I needed. The Contender I have is an older one I didn't think there were any perts to be found.

PACHMAYR and EABCO are great!

My third Pachmayr grip. Now have one for my .357, .44 mag and now the T/C Contender. Love them all.

Contender forearm real nice would recommend to all. Very good service. Much respect.
