Original Bob Sled AI-223 Single Shot Loading Mag
The AI-223 Bob Sled provides a single shot loading bed or follower to allow the easy loading and firing of single rounds during competition, benchrest , or varmint shooting. Made from durable, long lasting Delrin® to ensure a lifetime of use, the Bob Sled simply replaces your magazine to allow easy loading of single rounds. The AI-223 Bob Sled works with the Accuracy International, Oryx, MDT, and rifles that use the Badger and CDI bottom metals that accept Accuracy Internation (AICS) magazines.
- Some Fitting MAY Be Required - The AI-223 Bob Sled seems to fit everything without modification. But every once in awhile a customer will call and say it won't fit or latch in his AICS compatible mag well. I spoke to Bob Hanin about this and he said the little aluminum retainer catch was made a little long to be sure it could fit the wide variety of AICS compatible rifles. So, if your magazine is not latching, you can file just a little bit off the tip of the catch and that will solve the problem.

SINGLE SHOT DROP-IN

RIFLE: Ruger Precision Rifle in 5.56 / .223. Due to the design of the magazine for this rifle, single feeding is all but impossible. Running dope on cartridge loads via chronograph is insane work having to feed a magazine. This single feed sled is the answer to the problem. It saved my having to try and modify a stock magazine.

Excellent Item

I like to shoot my rifles single shot and this single shot magazine replacement works great. I have used the cheaper ones but if you have a nice rifle that you want to finish off well, this is the item for you.

Best of its kind

I am using this in a custom 221 fireball on a short action Howa and a KRG Bravo stock. It fits perfect, and works flawlessly. Highly recommended.

AI-223 bobsled

I have this for my savage 10 in an Oryx chassis. This AI-223 sled works great for F-class/Benchrest type shooting (long bullets). Well made and fits good. Wish I could say the same for the 223 savage rifle. Lots of feeding problems from the start. Accurate AI mags work the best for mag feeding. I modified this sled to work in my rifle and it does well now just single feeding. To be clear it is an action design flaw in my Savage, not this sled.

bob sled

I used it on a prairie dog shoot last week in a GA Precision 223. it was out standing with over 200 rounds going through it in a single day without a single issue.

Buy One for Every Rifle

I currently own three Bob Sled single feed adapters and couldn't be happier. I additionally have two competing products, both of which are 3d printed, and neither perform as well or feel as good as the Bob Sled products. The solid construction coupled with the aluminum mag catch inspire confidence in the build of this item. If you shoot at a range that requires single feeding, you cannot do better than these products.
