M1 Carbine Sight Set for Ruger 10/22 Rifles
- Replica M1 Carbine sights made to fit the Ruger 10/22. Fully functional windage and elevation adjustment. Rear sight fits 10/22 scope mounting holes. Front sight slips over the front sight band and secures with a set screw.
- Fully Functional... The rear sight adjusts elevation up and down a ramp with 3 notch stops. Windage is click adjustable via an adjustment knob and graduation marks. Its a peep sight and notice it is protected from bumps on either side by military style bump guards. This rear sight installs in the existing scope mount holes in your 10/22 receiver. The front sight is a fixed patridge style post with protective military wings. Installation is very straight forward: Tap or push the original dovetail sight out of the front sight band. Then just slide this new front sight over the sight band and secure it with a set screw.
- Why Peep Sights? First the peep acts like a camera aperture and helps to put the sights and target in better focus. Second, the sight radius is much longer and that makes your aiming more precise. And finally, peep sights are somewhat self aligning and fast. Just put the target and the front post somewhere in the peep and you're 90% sighted on target and you got there fast.
- Fitting Note: The M1 front sight slips over the barrel band of the factory front sight. Usually this is .625" diameter or smaller. If your front sight barrel band diameter is larger than .625" this sight won't fit your gun. Consider the TechSights 200 instead.
- Includes two rear sight screws and one set screw for the front sight.
