Lightnin' Grip 10/22 Magazine Loader
Loads the following brand magazines... Tactical Innovations, Butler Creek, Shooters Ridge, Champion, Ramline and Eagle (NOT FOR RUGER BRAND MAGAZINES)
The Lightnin' Grip Magloader comes from McFadden Machine... That's the genius behind the "Ultimate Cliploader" for Ruger MK pistols. Their new Lightnin' Grip Magazine loader for the Ruger 10/22 has the same ingenuity and reliable function... And Here's Why:
First, McFadden realized there are significant differences in the lips and feed angle of aftermarket 10/22 mags. Some are off-center and others are centered... These first two adaptors address those two characteristics and load Tactical Innovations, Butler Creek, Shooters Ridge, Champion, Ramline, and Eagle magazines flawlessly. Adaptors for other magazines are coming as soon as each one is perfected (Sorry not for Ruger Brand Magazines).
Second, This loader shoves your .22 shells directly backward into the magazine. A long, straight trigger lever stroke accomplishes this completely in one action. Other 10/22 mag loaders have a turn-crank that can sometimes jam or slow down the loading process.
Here's How the Lightnin' Grip Works: Load the hopper with up to 50 rounds of 22 ammo. Shake the loader to align the shells. Insert your magazine into the adaptor. And just keep pulling the lever until your magazine is loaded. Watch our video (below) to see how easy it is!
McFadden recommends Rem Oil (below) to maximize your Lightnin' Grip ammo feed.

Get one!
This is an awesome little machine. I expected it to take more effort to load 25 shells into a steel lips mag, but a child could do it and not need both hands. No more black fingers for me!

Just got the Lightnin' Grip Loader and had tried it on a couple of magazines and it worked great. For shooting a rimfire match it is great to load the magazines. I wonder tho if it will effect the accuracy of the round shooting 100 yards. By pushing the round in by the front tip will it deform the tip and effect accuracy? Have not had chance to find out.

Loader is great but not for 10/22 magazines
I ordered 3 other magazine adapters directly from the manufacturer at the same time that I ordered the Lightnin' Loader with 10/22 aftermarket magazine adapters from Eabco in order to save a few dollars. The 10/22 adapters were not usable on the aftermarket 10/22 magazines that they were made for. I could get a few rounds into one type of mag before it would jam up when using the proper centered adapter, but could not get any rounds into another type of magazine when using the proper off-center adapter. This loader was totally useless for 10/22 mags! However, the other 3 adapters that I ordered worked great for the magazines that they were made for. No problems whatsoever and it really speeds up the mag loading process.

10/22 Mag Loader
Great item to have at the range while teaching new shooters. No more thumbs getting cramped or the timid being gun shy in reloading the mags. My kids find it very useful when its their turn to load up for their round on the target.
