Savage Accuracy Barrel® Kits by EABCO
Includes Barrel Nut Wrench and Benchrest Cleaning Kit
Our Accuracy Barrels® for the Savage are precision gun drilled from the best Chromoly steel alloys. Bore dimensions are reamed consistent to airgauge within .0002 (2/10,000ths) of proper bore dimension. These are then Two-Pass button rifled in the various twist rates we offer to suit particular accuracy requirements. The barrel contour is varmint hunter weight, 26" long and tapering to just under .800" at the muzzle. Approx 3lb weight. Threaded to fit the Savage Short Action 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 and Long Action 110, 111, 112, 114, 116 series bolt action center fire rifles including the Stevens 200 of identical pattern. Our barrels do NOT for WSM nor Target actions. For Savage Edge/Axis barrel fitting info, please scroll down.
Chromoly steel, blue finish. Be sure to order a chamber that matches your existing bolt face. Or, order our Bolt Face Conversion Service and you'll be able to convert to ANY of our chambers. There are Two Ways to Order Barrels:
Uninstalled Savage Accuracy Barrel Kit - Price includes the barrel plus our Savage Barrel Wrench plus a Benchrest USP Bore Paste and Cleaning Oil Kit with Barrel Break-in Instructions. If you need head space gauges, see ordering information below.

Installation Service is Available - If you'd like us to install your EABCO Accuracy Barrel, it's a reasonable $30 for the install plus $65 to inlet your forend (if needed).

Free Barrel Nut Wrench ($39 Value) - Fits Savage barrel nuts with rounded as well as squared notches. Small square holes fit standard 1/2" socket end breaker bars.

Free USP Bore Paste Benchrest Cleaning Kit ($10.99 Value) - USP Bore Paste and Cleaning Oil assure sufficient cleaning of carbon and copper fouling for the quickest and most trouble free barrel break-in as well as keeping your barrel match accuracy clean. It's the choice of Bench Rest Competitors... Complete Instructions Included.

One-at-a-Time Barrel Making - True, center-to-center barrel turning at a rate that minimizes stress while keeping the bore in the middle. True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. True, center-to-center 11° target crown, applied after finishing, insures that bullets exit the barrel with perfectly even gas pressure. (The bright metal crown is a Trademark of E. Arthur Brown Company).
Edge/Axis Fitting Information - Original Savage "Edge" Rifles were renamed "Axis". Receiver barrel threads on these rifles are sometimes a little too tight for our close fitting EABCO 10/110 Accuracy Barrel threads. If you're ordering a barrel for a Savage "Edge" or "Axis" rifle, we recommend you send your rifle in and pay the extra $30 for installation plus $65 to re-channel your forend to fit the barrel contour. Also, you should remember Edge/Axis is otherwise a different receiver than the 10/110 series... It will not fit the same stocks as the 10/110 series rifles, for example

* 223 Remington Wylde is compatible with BOTH 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. It is THE Accuracy Chamber of choice for National Match rifle competitors and is an excellent choice for hunters, varmint shooters, and accuracy lovers.

Savage 6.5 Creedmore
This barrel is excellent. I bought one in 6.5 Creedmore and put it on a savage axis reciever. I went out and tested it today, following break in procedure. It was shooting less than a quarter moa at 150 yards with Winchester ammo and a cheap Tasco scope that has been in the family for years, and the original plastic savage stock. I am very impressed with the quality of the barrel and it cannot be beat for the money. Would 100% recommend.

My barrel arrived and I installed the barrel to my Savage 111 action (I had the headspace gauges) and took it out to the range that afternoon. 2 & 3 shots were touching holes and the 4th shot was dinging steel at 200 yards. I am very pleased with this rifle and even with factory loads, it had very tight groups. I cleaned the barrel after each shot and measured shots 5 - 9 on the target and they were .50" grouping. That is pretty good for a barrel that is a fraction of the price of other brands but still retains the same quality.

Excellent quality. I installed my 260 barrel after hand lapping. Today at the range groups were very small regardless of powder. I'm very pleased with a tack driving rifle with very little recoil.

So far, excellent!
I ordered the barrel to try my hand at doing a barrel swap converting a Savage Model 10 (.308 Win) to 6mm BR Norma. I followed the instructions with the USP bore paste/oil. My first trip to the range was a pleasant experience to say the least. Using Lapua brass, Sierra 70 Matchkings, and a starting load from the Sierra manual, recommended seating depth I was able to get some very nice groups the first trip. Further work with different loads; bullet weights, powder charges and seating depths will continue as I muddle on in my quest to shoot all the bullets in the same hole. Having a ball with my home project despite being a 70 year old crippled geezer. Be safe, have fun!

6.55 X 55 Tack Driver
Mounted the 6.5 X 55 EABCO Accuracy Barrel on my Savage Axis last year. It has proven to be the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. One hole groups at 100 yards and 1.25 groups at 300 yards are not uncommon. My record lows are .027 @100 and .550 @300 using tuned hand loads.

This barrel is amazing, I was not expecting much. It gave me quarter inch five shot group's at 100 yards with factory 75 grain ammo. The only downside is it's a little tough to clean at first, but it shoots just as good as my $500 match barrels!

.308 barrel that's shoots 1/4 groups with my own hand loads...couldn't be happier. Stabilizes to about 175 grain bullets. 150 grain seems to be the money spot. Highly recommend.

22-250 Rem 1:12 Barrel
I am very happy so far I just finished lapping the scope rings and mounting a Nightforce scope on it. I sighted it in at 150 yrds. and am pleased to say I am shooting .375 inch groups with 50 and 55gr. Hornaday Superformance rounds. I think it will only get better when I reload some of these fire formed cases.

Looking forward
I will be installing this barrel and doing some shooting next week. If it shoots half as good as it looks I'll be very happy. I've had no trouble with accuracy in a Savage Rifle. This barrel was bought for a caliber change. I removed a short and thin 30-06 barrel to try out the 6.5-284 norma. EABCO had some sale priced ammo available at the time that I also took full advantage of. Thanks again EABCO for making this Hobbie affordable.

Back in May 2016 I purchased the 6.5 Creedmore barrel. I finally have gotten installed and taking it out and shot it. After following their breaking procedure I am shooting half inch groups at 100 yards with factory hornet 140 Gr ELD match. My only complaint is they did not sell the go no go gauge set for the 6.5 Creedmore. I had to buy it else where.

I swapped my .308 savage fcp barrel with the 6.5 creedmoor. The barrel was very easy to install. I've just about got it broken in. I did modify the break in process. I did the same shot sequence but I only used the boar paste in the first 3 shots then I used butches boar shine and a thicker gun oil for the remainder of the process. I fired 3 rounds through one bullet hole at 100 yards yesterday. If it keeps that up, then I will probably use these barrels for life.

Installed a .308 1/12 twist barrel on my Marlin XS7VH to replace the horrid Remlin barrel. Did a proper break in. After 40 rounds, the rifle groups .589 in at 100 yards with 168gr. Match Kings. To say I am pleased is an understatement!

Shot first few rounds of my new 6.5x284 today and I'm very pleased. Install was great with the barrel wrench and head space gauges. Finish on the barrel is excellent and groups with nosler factory ammo were promising, looking forward to working up a handload to see how tight the groups will go!!!

I bought a Savage model 10 in 223 Remington because it was a great deal. Thanks to the staff recommendations at EABCO, it is now a 6.5x47 Lapua. I could not be happier. As my hunting gun, this thing hits like a freight train. For precision, 5/8 5 hot group at 200y. Best of all worlds. Thanks!

F-Class and Mid Range shooter
I just finished the last two NRA mid range shoots of the season using your 6.5x284 EABCO accuracy barrel and wow I'm impressed. This barrel gave me some of the best scores I've shot to date and is heads above some more expensive barrels I have. Whatever you folks are doing keep it up because for the money you just can't beat these barrels. Fit and finish were excellent, and the chamber is tight making for some exceptional performance at extreme ranges. Will be buying a 6mm BR for mid range soon to complement my 6.5x284 1000 yard rifle. A+++ all the way! Thanks EABCO.

Very good product, the kit is a great idea. I would like to suggest that EABCO add a new barrel nut to every kit they only cost about $10.00 and I would gladly pay the extra for the convenience. In my opinion the nut should be replaced with every new barrel. The barrel I bought 6.5X284Norma shoots extremely well getting 5 shot groups at 100 yards with all 5 holes touching when shooting my reloads. At 300 yards I am getting 2 inch groups. Thanks EABCO for a great product.

Very Accurate
I have put about 150 rounds thru this 6.5x47 Lapua barrel and I am very impressed. This is a sub MOA barrel with a couple of groups so far being under a half MOA for a 5 shot group. We recommend to anyone and may even pick up another caliber.
