Choate Ruger 10/22 Ventilated Hand Guard

Put this on my 10/22 with a Samson folding stock. Just the finishing touch it needed!

I purchased this hand guard for a custom 10/22 project I was working on. I was going for a look to match my Mini 14 and needed a hand guard to complete it. The hand guard is high quality. It’s thicker and more robust than I was expecting. The spring clip holds it securely in place and the fit is excellent. Well worth the low price. Depending on what type of stock you have, you may have to notch out two small areas for the spring clip. Fortunately, the stock I’m using was already made to accommodate it. The hand guard has a cutout for the rear sight. It folds down nicely out of the way if you’re using an optic. This is an excellent choice if you’re looking for this type of accessory.

i have bee using the choat handguard for about 35yrs. i always use one on my 10-22 bilds. feels superb.

I got this for my Samson B-TM mini-14 style 10/22 folding stock. The hand guard is similar to the factory mini -14 and really aids in the completion of the look. I took off the 10/22 rear site, and used a 1935 Buffalo Nickle to fill the hole the hand guard has for the rear site. A bit of high heat epoxy to hold it in, and perfect! Only the Buffalo is visible now, and adds a unique touch.

The hand gaurd looks and works great on my standard ruger 10/22. I did have to knotch the stock just a little where it clips on but looks great once installed. A1 service thank you.

I love my first one so much I bought a second. I don't even have a second 10/22 yet. When I do get another I am going to want to slap one on it as soon as possible. I think it is pretty durable and ads a good look to my butler creak stock. It is slightly wider than the BC stock and the synthetic factory stock's forearm area but for the wood stocks they are dead on.
