ADTAC RM4 10/22 Rifle Stock by TacStar- Black

I needed a new stock for my new bull barrel. It probably couldn't be much easier to do that with this stock. Having the option is great too.

My reason for wanting another stock for my 10/22 was that I wanted a pistol grip, like an AR. I just find it more comfortable. I also wanted my optics to remain directly fixed to the upper. This stock fit the bill. With a little sanding to keep the barrel free floating, it feels good. I have yet to shoot it, but I have no doubt it will do the job.

i have had 2 other stocks for my 10/22's this is the one i will put on my other 10/22 i aslo bought the single grip pod and love it as well, the quality is first rate!! thanks tacstar for a great stock!!

Purchased the stock and it was very easily installed. Looks good, feels good, shoots well.

Fit well on my 10-22 target snug with full contact on the .920 barrel. Test ed with centerx ammo and did well at 50 yards. The stock makes the trigger pull much better than the stock stock.

My eight year old son could not shoulder his 10/22 with the factory stock. We bought this so he could comfortably shoot. We are both able to shoulder the rifle with this stock. It is a little heavy for a small child to shoot off-hand, but I like it. I removed the insert that contacts the barrel, so it is now free floating. The only downside I can think of is the release button to adjust the length of the butt-stock. That is the only thing that I can think of that needs a re-design. I suspect that I'll just drill and tap it and put in a button in to make adjustment easier.Unfortunately with all the fires here in Northern California we haven't been able to go shooting at Cow Mountain since they closed the range. I'll try to remember to update this after we go shooting.

Everything fits together nicely exactly as stated. Its fine at the range, no problems. I’d recommend buying a sling too.

Fits tight to the metal. Works great. Fits me great. Only minor thing is that the magazine pockets are really tight. The picture shows them on the right side. Mine were on the left. Appears to be reversible, but I haven't tried to move them yet.

This is a good stock for the money, but it's not perfect. I like the adjustable Butt-stock, but it does not lock down tightly, so there is a little movement. The type of plastic used is a bit cheaper looking than I had hoped, and shows some color differences. The barrel and receiver fit in nicely, and all told, the rifle shoots well for quick action steel shooting.

I bought this stock after watching a You Tube video review of the stock. I've seen other 'tactical' type stocks for the 10/22 and this one seemed to have more features. The one I was most interested in was the adjustable stock, but the pistol grip was a close second. Installation was very easy and took less than 5 minutes. The stock is sturdy, light and comfortable. I had a pretty accurate rifle that was uncomfortable to shoot with the Ruger stock, now it's my favorite rifle. Something that I didn't anticipate was the removable inner forearm channel. I felt that my standard barrel fit too tightly in the channel, so I removed it ( I suppose that's intended so that if you have a bull barrel you can still use the stock), but what I found is that I now have a free floated barrel and as you might expect accuracy has improved an already accurate rifle. This is an excellent stock at a reasonable price. In fact I came back to the E. Arthur site to purchase my second stock, eventually all my 10/22's will wear this stock.

Bought this for my old 10-22 with heavy bbl. Fit perfectly and looks great too. Removing the insert for standard bbl was a snap

Have only put about fifty rounds thru it but seems solid. .920 fluted accuracy barrel and adtac stock marry well together. Smooth quite shots with little to no recoil. bipod added, I am loving this product.

I hav purchases several rifle stocks for my 10/22's. Nothing compares to this one. I only hope they create more accessories for it in the future. The buttstock slides like butter.
