25 + 20 Round Capacity Rapidly Reloads Stripper Clip Style
This 25 round 10/22 magazine reloads with a removable 20 round piggy back stripper clip.  25 + 20 = 45 Round Total Capacity. And, you can buy extra stripper clips to keep your magazine stocked full of ammo! This is the new "Gen II" version of the HCMAGs HC3R 10/22 Magazine. It's got stainless steel feed lips that mimic the shape of Ruger factory magazine lips. And, the Gen II Stripper Clips now have a toggle lever for cartridge retention and easy release during stripper loading. quality product
It took a little time and a short video on how to load the magazine before I could get it to load right. Now that I have loaded and shot several magazines they work great and I have ordered the whole kit. It's a good product if you shoot a lot of 10-22 you will enjoy the speed and ease of loading. I also think there is a break in do to the sharp edges on the plastic parts.

Magazine
The action is hanging up on magazine and won't insert the bullets into barrel. This was first try so will have to investigate why this is happening

takes some getting used to
These will perform well after some prqctice. The big thing is loading them correctly. I had to call the manufacturer to find out u have to hold the mag almost upside down, take off the pressure spring, shake it, and then they fall into place. If not then the rounds won't pass the feed lip and won't load. So after you figure that out the mags work great. I give 3 stars because of the loading specifics to make it work right. Although reloading with the stripper clip does make it go pretty fast. Overall, I like them I just think they could improve the loading aspect.

Mr.
Although I haven't had a chance to field test this item, it appears to be well made, and seems to feed well. It does take considerable practice to effectively use some of it's features, and in the long run I think I will be happier with a traditional 25 rd. magazine.
