As Don said in his review, it is a little long for a M1 magazine, but it does fit well on the ruger 10 round, and it is way easier removing the magazine when it is on there. I was also able to pry off the bottom and cut mine down also for a more authentic look.

Mr.
Product is only a fake magazine extension. But it was too long and looked silly. Fortunately I was able to pry the baseplate off and cut the body down to 2 1/2 inches and reattach the base. I did this after comparing it to the actual M1 carbine photo. It looks much better now and makes the 10 Rd. Mag easy to remove. This is a good product but way too long.

10-22 M1
I bought this to give my Ruger 10-22 M1 conversion a more realistic look. although it is not exactly like the M-1 mag, it is straight and does mimic it a bit better than the banana clips which do hold more ammo. The dummy stick fits perfectly to the bottom of the 10-22 standard mag and can be glued with gorilla glue very effectively. It also does make loading and unloading easier. I am pleased with the purchase....I just wish that a faux mag for M-1 carbine could be designed in the same manner.

Not worth the time or money. I'd highly recommend not wasting your money like I did, It's cheap plastic and doesn't stay attached.

Downside... a lot of money for a bit of plastic. UPSIDE: it would take me hours to fabricate this from plastic. Sturdy, looks great, and greatly increases the speed and ease of changing magazines. Now I need another ten for the rest of my mags :) Great product!

dummy stick magazize
I recently built a 10/22 ar15 for my wife as a birthday gift. I purchased archangel 10 round mags for her. However the archangel mags did not work well with the trigger guard I had chosen. So I had to come up with another plan. I had ordered the dummy stick bases for another gun I was building for myself. So I glued up 5 for her gun. Since you glue them to original ruger mags they work perfect and look awesome.

After originally buying one of these and setting it up with a Ruger 10-round rotary magazine, I got all sorts of positive comments-plus-it looks really cool on my 10-22, so I bought another. These are great! Makes me wish Ruger would make a 20 round rotary mag to emulate these! If you go to the trouble to remake your 10-22 into an M-! carbine look-alike, you need these to complete the look.

I bought these for my Tommygun replica built on a Ruger 10/22. They fit my factory 10 round mags perfectly. I used some plactic weld type glue to keep them together. I just wish they held more.
